Since I want to share my experiences as a photographer with you, I hereby start the “Back in Time”-series.
The following Episode I showcases behind-the-scene pictures of a fashion-photography workshop I held back in 2009. At that time, I was a freelance-teacher of photography at “Fotoschule Graz“ with responsibility for my students in terms of teaching composition & guiding them in making creative decisions within their work process.
For the workshop I found a cooperating partner who produces and sells yachts. You have to imagine to stand in a backyard packed with huge ships but being hundreds of kilometers away from the sea. That was weird; however, it was exactly this strangeness through which the location appeared all the more striking. I managed to contract a bunch of aspiring newcomer-models who were willing to work for gaining experience. To complete the crew a cool and nice Make-up Artist lent her skilled hand.
